Enigma: Inside the Machine Rev. 1
Twelve working cipher machines, 1926 to 1945. Type on them, pull them apart, and follow the current through the wiring.
Settings
The red line is the current on its way in, the blue line is the same current on its way back. The reflector on the left joins the contacts in pairs, so the way back can never be the way in. That is why no letter is ever enciphered as itself, the flaw that helped break every model. The number or letter at the top of each wheel is the one showing in its window, and a gold dot marks a turnover notch.
Run a whole message
Type or paste text. Anything the machine has no key for is skipped. Every run begins from the start letters shown in Settings.

Real messages
Pick one. The right machine is loaded and set exactly as the operator had it, and the cipher text is placed in the box, ready to run. You can also switch to the Machine tab and type it letter by letter.
