How to Use

1. Type an organism's common or scientific name into the search bar.

2. The selected organism will appear in the center with its description and image.

3. Desktop: Click a branch on the left to move UP the taxonomic tree (to broader categories). Click a branch on the right to move DOWN (to more specific categories).

4. Mobile: Click above the center to move UP. Click below the center to move DOWN.

5. Toggle "Include intermediate clades" to switch between strict Linnaean ranks and highly granular evolutionary paths.
